Over 1,800 Hearing Aids Were Distributed To People Coming From All Parts Of Armenia By The Starkey Hearing Foundation

The Western Diocese of the Armenian Church is pleased to partner with the Starkey Foundation, founded by William & Tani Austin, who personally led the mission in Armenia.  Each patient was examined, fitted, given the devices along with follow-up care and supplies.

This humanitarian effort was actualized in Armenia through the efforts of Armen & Haikuhi Kavoukjian. 

Before leaving Armenia, the Starkey Team visited Holy Etchmiadzin where they met and received a blessing by Archbishop Natan Hovhannisyan, on behalf of the Catholicos, who was away from the Holy See.

Many beautiful and moving stories came out of these four days ​which were captured by Fr. Vazken & Yn. Susan Movsesian who participated in the mission on behalf of the Diocese. We will share those stories shortly.
