The Primate held a meeting with the principals of five Armenian Schools on Friday, September 15, 2017 at the Diocesan Headquarters in Burbank. Mr. Shahe Mankerian, Mrs. Arpi Avanessian-Idolor, Mr. Michael Pratt, Mrs. Lina Arslanian and Mrs. Maral Boyadjian, Principals of Alfred and Marguerite Hovsepian School, AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School, AGBU Vatche and Tamar Manoukian School, Merdinian Armenian Evangelical School and Sahag Mesrob Armenian School, respectively, participated in the meeting.
Planned events and activities for the 2017-2018 academic year were discussed. Thoughts and ideas of collaboration between the educational and religious institutions were exchanged.
A new initiative of distributing Holy Communion to the graduating classes was launched as a result of the meeting.
The Primate commended the principals for their commitment and dedication to education excellence as well as preserving the sacred values of the Armenian family.
