On September 2, 2017 the Primate traveled to Mexico City where His Eminence attended a concert dedicated to the 25th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Armenia and the United Mexican States.
The concert, held under the auspices of the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Mexico and His Excellency Ara Ayvazian, Armenian Ambassador to Mexico, featured selected works of the renowned Armenian composer Aram Khachaturian, Manuel Esperon, Alexander Arutiunian, Carlos Chaves and Arno Babajanian performed by the philharmonic orchestra of UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico) under the directorship of Ridrigo Sierra Moncayo.Â
