Mer Hooys Celebrates International Women’s Day With Community Service

To celebrate International Women's Day, the girls in the Mer Hooys program at Nakashian Children's Support Center in Yerevan participated in a new initiative by the Yerevan State Medical University. The goal of the initiative is to renovate the recuperative center for military disabled and wounded soldiers. This initiative is supported by government agencies and local celebrities. The fund-raising project includes making holiday cards which will be available for sale online and in various shops. All proceeds from the cards will be donated to support the restoration of the recuperative center.

Mer Hooys is happy to join the new initiative of the Yerevan State Medical University. This activity is part of Mer Hooys' mission to teach our girls the value of community service and making a difference in the world.  Our talented artist Arminé and her fiancée Sooren helped our girls to prepare festive cards for this wonderful purpose. Bravo to the Mer Hooys staff and girls for being so committed to helping others.
