The parishioners of Holy Resurrection Armenian Church in Seattle received the blessings of the Diocesan Primate on Sunday, March 19, 2017.
This was the Primate’s first pastoral visit to the parish since the appointment of the Very Rev. Fr. Yeremia Abgaryan as Parish Priest.
During the service and with the assistance of Fr. Yeremia, the Primate granted four minor orders of acolyte to Arthur Senionov. Acolytes Arnold Senionov and Hovig Tatarian were granted the rank of stole bearer. His Eminence ordained Hayk Tadevosyan, Albert Tadevosyan, Alex Esibov and Andranik Avtandilov as Deacons of the Armenian Church.
Congratulating the altar servers, His Eminence wished them renewed strength in their service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and the Armenian Apostolic Church.
Archbishop Derderian also commended the leadership of the newly assigned pastor Fr. Yeremia Abgaryan whose commitment to carrying out the mission of Holy Resurrection Armenian Church was most evident in the young priest’s dedication to his pastoral ministry.
