Diocesan Primate Visits Colorado Parish - Discusses Plans For New Church Building

On Wednesday, October 22, 2025, the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian paid a pastoral visit to the Armenian Apostolic Church of Colorado in Denver. During his visit, Archbishop Derderian met with members of the Parish Council and dues-paying parishioners to discuss the community’s efforts toward acquiring a permanent church building. The meeting provided an opportunity to review the mission parish’s growth and the faithful’s dedication to establishing a lasting spiritual home in the region.

Founded in 2003, the Armenian Apostolic Church of Colorado has served as a vital center for Armenian faith and heritage in the Centennial State. Over the years, a number of visiting clergy have celebrated the Divine Liturgy and ministered to the spiritual needs of the community.
