Seattle'S Armenian School Students Receive Holy Communion

Sunday, December 8, 2024 was such a special day for the students and teachers of the Seattle Armenian School. Together, we gathered at church to receive Holy Communion and blessing from Der Vazgen Boyajyan.

What made it even more meaningful was the way Ter Hayr spoke directly to the kids in their language. He made them feel seen, heard, and welcome. He talked to them about Christmas, gratitude, and the importance of appreciation, all with a warmth that left us all inspired.

For the kids, coming to Holy Resurrection Armenian Apostolic Church feels like a little adventure—they explore with curious eyes, ask questions, and fill the space with their happy chitchats. For us as teachers, seeing their excitement and joy in our beautiful church is truly rewarding.
