It is with great sorrow that we inform the passing of His Eminence Archbishop Vatche Hovsepian.
Archbishop Hovsepian, member of the Brotherhood of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin and the eldest clergyman of the Armenian Apostolic Church, entered his eternal rest earlier today. He was 92 years old.
We convey our deep condolences to the Hovsepian family, relatives, the Diocesan clergy and the faithful. Details about the funeral service will be made in the upcoming days. May the Good Lord accept his servant in the abode of the heavenly saints and grant solace and consolation to all who mourn his passing.
