Honor and Courage

Memorial Day turns to be more significant after COVID-19. It helps us to understand what our soldiers have gone through in defense of our country and the freedom which we commonly hold in reverence.

Their journey of life has been a most painful "COVID-19." Therefore, what we have gone through for nearly the past 18 months instructs us all to be more cognizant of the gift of life and the gift of the universe.

May God bless the souls of our soldiers for their memory should be revered forever. The path of their life will always illuminate our lives but above all the lives of our children and the many generations to come.

We especially pray for their families who carry on their undying legacies.

May God bless and protect the United States of America.

Prayerfully,
Archbishop Hovnan Derderian

Primate
