Adventist Health Glendale Commemorates 106th Anniversary of the Armenian Genocide

On April 23, 2021, the associates, physicians, and community members of Adventist Health Glendale joined the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian in commemorating the 106th anniversary of the #ArmenianGenocide.

Archbishop Derderian was accompanied by the Rev. Fr. Vazken Movsesian and the Rev. Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan. Adventist Health Glendale honored and paid tribute to the 1.5 million martyrs whose lives were lost to a brutal foe. Those who survived and created new generations of thriving Armenian communities around the world, here in Glendale and at our medical center were also honored. Among the dignitaries in attendance were Glendale Mayor Paula Devine, Glendale City Councilmember Ara Najarian, Adventist Health Glendale President and CEO Alice Issai, and Board Members.
