Primate Ordains Grants Minor Orders Of Acolyte And Ordains Deacons During Divine Liturgy

On Sunday, January 10, 2021, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated at St. Leon (Srbots Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral by Archbpriest Fr. Manoug Markarian. During the service, the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian granted four minor orders of acolyte to altar servers Rafael Petrosyan, Arshak Ter Hovhannisyan and Vahagn Shahbazyan.

Archbishop Derderian then ordained Nareg Ghookasian and Asbed Hamamjian as deacons of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Archbishop Derderian congratulated the newly ordained acolytes and deacons, commending their Christian spirit and dedication to the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and their reverence of the sacred traditions of the Armenian Apostolic Church.
