Western Diocese Makes First Transfer Of $50,000 To Support Displaced Families Of Artsakh   

This week, the Western Diocese made the first transfer of $50,000 to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin in support of the displaced families from Artsakh. 

As we have recently announced, at the direction of the Diocesan Primate His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian and in collaboration with the Department of Social Services of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, the Western Diocese has launched a new humanitarian initiative aimed at supporting displaced families from Artsakh.

The economic crisis, the devastation of the ongoing pandemic, thousands of wounded soldiers, bereaved families, and displaced refugees require major and long-term solutions in terms of financial, spiritual, medical, and psychological support.
