The Shnorhali Choir of the Western Diocese, under the conductorship of Maestro Raffi Mikaelian delivered an exceptional performance at the 22nd Annual Christmas Musicfest at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral Choir on Sunday December 8, 2019 at 7:00 p.m.
His Grace Bishop Armash Nalbandian, Primate of the Diocese of the Armenian Church of Damascus attended the event and conveyed his heartfelt wishes to Fr. John Bakas, the Cathedral’s Dean and the organizers.
The event also featuring the Saint Sophia Greek Orthodox Cathedral Choir and soloists directed by Jim Kollias; the POYAC – Pan-Orthodox Young Adult Choir directed by Jonny Braun presenting Orthodox Christmas hymns and chants, plus several selections from the English Christmas Carol repertoire and traditional sing-along carols of the holiday season.
