Khachadourian Choir Cross Stone Dedication – Choir Room Dedicated In Honor Of Deacon Hagop Zerounian

His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian was the celebrant and homilist at St. Leon Armenian Cathedral on Sunday, November 8, 2019.

At the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy, the Primate presided over the dedication ceremony of the Khachadourian Choir Room in honor of long-time servant of the Armenian Apostolic Church Deacon Hagop Zerounian. Archbishop Derderian invited the members of the Khachadourian Choir to the nave where he presented a plaque to Deacon Zerounian, making the dedication of the Choir Room in his honor official. His Eminence highlighted the Deacon Zerounian’s tenured service, his undying love and commitment to the Armenian Apostolic Church and her sacred traditions.

Following the ceremonial dedication, the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Derderian, accompanied by His Eminence Archbishop Vatche Hovsepian, Archpriest Fr. Manoug Markarian, the Rev. Fr. Vazken Movsesian and the members of the Choir led a processional to the East Wall of St. Leon  Armenian Cathedral where he consecrated a cross-stone (khatchkar) dedicated to the Khachadourian Choir.
