The Diocese
Posted: 04/08/2016
On April 6, 2016, the older residents of Mer Hooys offered their daily share of fruits and juices for the wounded soldiers from the recent fighting in Artsakh. Â The girls prepared care packages that included fruit, juices, pakhlava made by one of the girls, and tea and coffee. Â With staff, they went to the local hospital in Yerevan where the soldiers and their families were. Â
They shared coffee, tea and sweets with the families, and juice and fruit with the wounded soldiers. Â Mer Hooys has taught our girls that service to others is a gift that gives back in ways that cannot be measured. Â The Board and the Western Diocese are so proud of our girls!
