Professor Hrayr Jebejian Visits The Western Diocese

On Friday, August 16, the Diocesan Primate Archbishop Hovnan Derderian welcomed Professor Hrayr Jebejian, General Secretary of the Bible Society in the Gulf, to the Western Diocese. Professor Jebejian was accompanied by Rev. Serop Megerditchian. Senior Pastor of Armenian Cilicia Evangelical Church in Pasadena. Professor Jebejian’s latest book “Armenian Diaspora Lives: As I Saw Them” was presented in Los Angeles later that evening.

Matters related to the Armenian Apostolic and the Armenian Evangelical Churches were discussed in a cordial meeting.

Hrayr Vahe Avedis Jebejian, D.Min. (MS 1984) received a master’s degree in agricultural economics from FAFS. He earned a doctoral degree in ministry from the New York Theological Seminary in 2014, and is the General Secretary of the Bible Society in the Gulf. Author, lecturer, and consultant, he was awarded the Ambassador of the Motherland medal by the Republic of Armenia in 2014.
