Western Diocese Establishes Humanitarian Fund For Artsakh

The Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America under the leadership of His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Diocesan Primate, has established a humanitarian fund benefitting the families of the fallen soldiers who bravely protect the borders of Artsakh and those families who have suffered losses in the past few days as a result of the military aggression perpetrated by the Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

 
On April 4, 2016, the Primate met with a number of community leaders and benefactors who have courageously stepped forward to pledge their support for Artsakh and the Republic of Armenia. Within hours of the fund's establishment, close to $300,000 has been raised.
