St. Nersess Armenian Theological Seminary held a meeting of the Board of Trustees on Friday, May 17, 2019 in New York. Board members Archpriest Fr. Sarkis Petoyan, Pastor of St. Gregory the Illuminator Armenian Church of Pasadena and Mr. Gregory Nemet of the St. John Parish of San Francisco participated in the meeting. Seven students were enrolled in the seminary during the 2018-2019 academic year, three of whom graduated in last week.
Six more seminarians will be enrolled in the upcoming 2019-2020 academic year.
On Friday evening, over 100 guests including friends and family of the graduates, clergy, board of directors, faculty, alumni, students, and supporters of the seminary celebrated the graduation of Dn. Alex Calikyan, Dn. Albert Hambardzumyan, and Johnny Chadoyan who received their diplomas from St. Nersess Seminary. They graduated owning their Masters of Divinity degrees.
