Between 1915 and 1923, one and a half million Armenians were massacred in the first genocide of the 20th century. Commemorating the Armenian Genocide and the massive loss of life, in partnership with the American Red Cross, the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America organized a Blood Drive to give others the gift of life.

Dozens of volunteers participated in the successful blood drive, which was held in the Zorayan Museum Hall located in the lower gallery of St. Leon (Srbots Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral. We are delighted to inform that 18 pints of blood was collected during the blood drive which impacted 54 lives in the community.
