Endowment Fund Committee’s Donor Appreciation Luncheon: Remembering the rich legacy of the late Varnum Paul

The Western Diocese Endowment Fund Board organized a donor appreciation luncheon  on Thursday, December 6, 2018. Held in the Hampar Family Room of the Western Diocese, the luncheon was in tribute of the late Varnum Paul, founder of the Western Diocese Endowment Fund.

Karen Kondazian, daughter of the late Varnum and Lilian Paul and benefactress of the Western Diocese attended the event along with members of the Diocesan Council, donors and supporters of the Endowment Fund.

Guests watched a video presentation prepared by the TV and Media Department of the Western Diocese depicting the undying legacy of the late Varnum Paul, the Founder of the Endowment Fund.  

In his remarks, Endowment Fund Board member Mr. Zaven Akian reflected on the significance of the Endowment Fund in ensuring the vivacity and contributing to the overall growth of the Western Diocese.

The Diocesan Primate highlighted the number of missions that have been realized at the Western Diocese because of the generosity of Mr. Varnum Paul. “The generous heart and humble personality of Mr. Varnum Paul have been etched in my memory. He will always remain in the hearts of the Diocesan faithful as a man who loved his family, his Church and the Armenian people,” said Archbishop Derderian.
