Primate Celebrant At St. John Garabed Armenian Church Of San Diego

On Sunday, November 11, 2018, the Diocesan Primate celebrated the Divine Liturgy at St. John Garabed Armenian Church of San Diego. Accompanying Archbishop Derderian was Deacon Levon Asdourian. 

At the Holy Altar, the Primate was assisted by the Very Rev. Fr. Pakrad Dz. V. Berjekian, Pastor of St. John Garabed Armenian Church and the deacons.

In his homily, Archbishop Dederian referenced to the Gospel according to St. Luke (8:40-56) wherein Jesus raises Jairus’ dead daughter. His Eminence encouraged the faithful to remain steadfast in their ancestral Christian Faith, always yearning for God’s salvation and healing touch.     

PRIMATE'S HOMILY

Following the Divine Liturgy, the Diocesan Primate presided over a Special Parish Assembly during which matters related to the new church complex in Del Mar, California were discussed.
