On Sunday, October 28, the Sunday School Parent Committee of St. Leon Armenian Cathedral, with the support of the Ladies Society and the Parish Priest, organized their first annual fall festival. The highly anticipated event was held on the Turpanjian Plaza of the Western Diocese where more than 300 children, parents participated enjoyed food, music, games and prizes.
The event was aimed at strengthening the bond between the community and the church. We are delighted to inform that half of the proceeds from the event will be allocated to support a Sunday School in Armenia’s border-neighboring village in the Tavush province.
The Cathedral’s Pastor Rev. Fr. Khajag Shahbazyan expressed wholehearted gratitude to the organizers of the highly successful event and encouraged them to continue upholding the zealous Christian spirit with renewed grace and humility.
