Homenetmen Centennial Gala Held In San Francisco

On October 6, 2018, the Diocesan Primate His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, accompanied by Archpriest Fr. Datev Harutyunian, Pastor of St. Andrew Armenian Church of Cupertino, the Rev. Fr. Hovel Ohanyan, Pastor of St. Vartan Armenian Church of Oakland and the Rev. Fr. Mesrob Ash, Pastor of St. John Armenian Church of San Francisco attended the Homenetmen Centennial Gala.

The Saroyan Hall of the Khachaturian Armenian Community Center in San Francisco was the venue of the event. In his remarks, Archbishop Derderian commended the organizers and reflected on the rich history of Homenetmen in educating past, present and future athletes and leaders.
