We are deeply saddened to inform the passing of the Honorable Justice Armand Arabian (1934 – 2018). Justice Arabian was 83.
Reflecting on the rich legacy of Justice Arabian, His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Primate of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America and Mexico stated “Justice Armand Arabian, was awarded the St. Gregory the Illuminator Medal from His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians. Together with his late wife Nancy, they have been passionately dedicated to the missions of the Western Diocese of the Armenian Church of North America. They were esteemed Godfathers of St. Leon (Srbots Ghevontiants) Cathedral of the Western Diocese. Blessed is the memory of the righteous.”
Justice Armand Arabian served on the California Supreme Court from 1990 to 1996.
