Agbu Manoogian Demirdjian School’s Pto And Students Visit The Western Diocese

The Parent-Teachers Organization (PTO) of the AGBU Manoogian-Demirdjian School visited the Western Diocese on Tuesday, March 6, 2018.

The distribution of Holy Communion to the graduating class as well as a graduates’ retreat were among the topics discussed in a meeting with His Eminence Archbishop Hovnan Derderian, Diocesan Primate.

The students were also led on a tour of St. Leon (Srbots Ghevontiants) Armenian Cathedral and the Zorayan Museum located in the lower gallery of the Western Diocese and the Western Diocese Turpanjian Diocesan Bulding by the Rev. Fr. Nerses Hayrapetyan and Mr. Hayk Madoyan.

Welcoming the students, Archbishop Derderian addressed the topic of stewardship. “Each of us is a steward in one way or another. We safeguard and protect everything that we deem valuable. I call upon you to become stewards of the intangibles. Be stewards of the sacred teachings of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Be stewards of the Armenian Apostolic Church. Be stewards of your relationship with God. Preserve and protect the invaluable spiritual bond through fervent prayer,” said Archbishop Derderian.

Prior to departure, the students were treated to a pizza lunch.
